Individuals with dyslexia tend to have strengths in areas other than academics such as creativity and imagination. Steve Jobs struggled in school. Jobs did not like school because he didn’t believe it had practical application in his life.

As the occasional CEO of the Apple company, he has spearheaded some of its most famous creations. His dyslexia didn’t stop him from meeting Steve Wozniak in college. They built a computer in their dorm and founded Apple Computers in 1976 with $1,300 in startup money. The rest is history.
